"Things To Ponder"

Post by kootenay joe »

The GEC website has a page "Things to Ponder" which shows 3 different 'pictures', 2 of which show a snake.
Does anyone know what we are supposed to ponder ?
I don't get it. What are the snakes about ?
Maybe the younger members here are more clued in and can explain this page to me. I'm pondered out and came up with nothing.

I can only guess but I think the snake might mean that there are #47 Vipers coming soon.

Or serpentine? The picture about sausages and beer was about the #35 Sausage knife...or whatever they are calling the knife with the beard comb.

What about the riderless horse rearing away from a snake (rattle snake ?) ?
A Serpentine Horseman's knife with a hoof pick ?

onearm, good interpretation of the clues !
A repeat of the #47 Viper would be well received.

GEC has posted a "What at the End of the Hall ?" photo. The Beer & Sausage #35 parts , maybe a #74 & #47 parts are going into the assembly room. Maybe the bone has arrived ? Things are looking positive .

I hope it's a 47 Viper hint, that is a beautiful pattern with a Wharncliffe slicer on it.

Supposing we are in store for some more 74’s, what can you fellas say about the pull and action on those.

Compared to, say, 43s (weak sauce!) and 23s (masochistic perfection!)?

Thanks!

Go to the GEC web-sight ---- Click on to "What's Happening ?" ---- Go all the way down to the left bottom picture "What's at the End of the Hall?" I have seen pictures of this goofy chief cartoon without the leather pouch bag. Maybe a leather pouch bag is coming soon ? I believe the shiny parts above the Cobra's head is GEC#23LL parts ready for assembly. I bet the bovine cattle bone is ready too? The #35 , #74 , and #47 parts are ready to be assembled.

GEC#74 triple line bolsters have been posted on the GEC web-sight. "Northfield Mustang" It is official , that a #74 "Northfield Mustang run will be made. No signs of a Tidioute knife at all. I believe a #74 Saddle Trapper run will be made also. (not confirmed)
