I own this knife and bought it in a lot of 8 GEC knives I have scoured the web trying to get a general Idea of its Value. Can any of you folks shed any light on this knife? I'm at a total loss! LoL
Thanks in advance for all the help!

The only comparable, I could find, was the sale of this ebony one. Additionally, yours doesn't have the bottom metal bolster. I'm guessing yours would bring a little less... But; probably a fair ballpark estimate.

Thanks doc...I really had a hard time finding any of those #65 patterns maybe half a dozen but no beavertails....Does it matter much about the 1 of 25 thing #22 to be exact? I know in queens last few years theirs and the S&M all seem to be either 1 of a few or a "prototype" . Not going to speculate out of respect for Queen's legacy.
Thanks for your input and research!

I don't think the particular number has much bearing on the price, unless it's #1 of a highly sought out pattern. The other Ben Hogan that sold was also a 1/25 (also it was a lockback. Final price certainly comes down to who is bidding; or, who wants it. You can look back on GEC's site to see how many Ben Hogan's were produced. I don't know how many handle options were available. They may have done four or five handle options, that were 1 /25.

Very cool. I actually have #21.
Always interested in buying: GEC Beaver Tails (any pattern, any year)
