I know there's a market for Case Peanuts and tiny Toothpicks, guess they're tapping that market. How much are these Rattlers going for?
Just to give you an idea, there are 2 retailers that have the #19 rattler in white bone as i am typing this, one is selling for $77, the other for $96, for some reason these appear easy to purchase. They are usually gone in under a minute, these have been available from the $77 retailer for over 2 hours. Go figure. ::shrug:: ::handshake::

Thanks for the info, cudgee. I got a C. Risner email about the Ratler going on sale at 8:00 tonight. I guess it's just not my thing. ::shrug::
No worries mate, great minds think alike, not something that i have any interest in either. It is amazing though, they are still available at one outlet, that means that if you wanted one you have had well over 4 hours to purchase. Yet, one well known retailer sold out immediately earlier today, work that one out. And if you or i wanted one, they would have lasted less than a minute, you know what i mean. ::doh::

I scored 4 Little Rattlers.
1- red coral micarta
1-white bone
1-blue teal
1-kingwood.
I plan to give each of my 3 grandsons a knife and keep one for myself to carry.
I'm a fan of small knives although most of my GEC collection consists of large pocket knives. I've been collecting GEC knives since about 2009.

Cool little knife (2¾" closed). I was surprised to discover that the pull/opening/closing action does not feel the same as the other GEC knives I own or have owned. Hard to explain what that difference is exactly, but it's not as stiff as I normally expect on a GEC...it feels more like the movement on a later model (DFC era) Queen knife, IMO. Could this be due to the small size, perhaps? Is it just my particular knife or has anyone else who has a Little Rattler noticed a difference, too?
