GP Knives just dropped a batch of GEC#19Red Coral Canvas knives. And you won't like the price. (edited 10:30am) JSR Sports and More sold out in a half hour. GP Knives had their drop 24 hours ago. And they still have them in stock.

I have a Red Coral waiting for me in my mailbox. I should have some pics to post in about 90 minutes.

It's small but I like it. Light pull, good snap, and a pinchable blade.

My only gripe is that when closed the tip rests just about even with the top of the handle. I can't snag my finger on it yet but it won't take more that one or two re-profiles to the edge.

Neat little knife though. I'm glad I got one.

I had one waiting for me today as well. Definitely small, but I think I'll like it. Fit and finish is quite good, it's nice and snappy, 4-ish pull. I love the color on the micarta scales. I'm going to carry it for a few days to see how I like it.

I find any knife under 3" to be too small. I have slightly smaller than average hands but a sub 3" knife just does not feel 'right'. Custom knife makers rarely if ever make a sub 3" knife because they are hard to sell. GEC would have done better if they had made this pattern 3 1/4".
With folding knives a small increase in size gives a large difference in feel.

Is there really that much of a market for small (< 3") knives? ::shrug::

I am shocked ,myself . The Little Rattler #19 is the perfect 5th pocket knife. 2020 is the perfect time for GEC to release the #19s. The knife collectors are in a GEC buying frenzy right now.

I’m going to pass on the acrylic. I don’t like any of the acrylic handles I have gotten, they are way too slick. Can’t wait for that black bone one to come out though.

A retailer sent a message out not long ago for early reserve, filled in under 20 seconds. So i guess the answer to your question is yes. ::tu::

Thank you for telling me that. I am the last person that needs a slick knife. I never thought of that before. That is why I am here to learn. The Black Teal Natural Bone has been changed to Blue Teal Natural bone on the #19 Rattler.

I know there's a market for Case Peanuts and tiny Toothpicks, guess they're tapping that market. How much are these Rattlers going for?

Price varies, depending on covers, and seller, i have seen them between $70-$100.
