My #38 English Whittler has arrived. What a Beauty ! The bone is such a warm rich color. I could not be more pleased.

That one has nicer covers than the two I have. I bought a second one on Ebay with hopes that it will be darker in color than the first one. Haven’t seen it yet, but the pics looked kind of light.
You have the coloration I really like on these. Very nice score.

With GEC collecting being what it is nowadays I don't try to put together complete sets of the various runs but I lucked out and an Oregon Knife Collectors 38 became available so I picked it up, gives me all 4 38's produced this run.

Those are all so nice. The red coloring on the 15th year anniversary #38 shows GEC can do a really nice red like the old Case Red Bones (the real Red Bones).

I agree. The reddish jigged bone on these 38's is exceptionally fine.
