Guy's / Gal's
I have always wanted the Big Boker Bowie from the first time that I ever saw one. Just never had the free floating cash to pay the over $400 dollars to get one. So looking on ebay the other day, I found one that was cheap enough that I could afford (finally). Only problem was with the sheath, someone set it on something hot and it got burnt really good. Everything on the knife is fine but the sheath definitely had some problems. I gave $150 for it, they were asking $175 so I felt like it was a bargain for me.
Very Very happy with the knife, and I tried my first attempt at making a sheath for it. I was happy with the finished product, plus I now have all the leather tools needed to improve and upgrade some of my other bowie knives sheaths in the future.
1. made the belt loop longer to hang further down on the waist
2. Added Chicago screws to the top corners to add a little more strength there
Here she is.

That's a fine looking sheath. I'm impressed.
