I have one just like it. Overbuilt isn’t the word for it. Those things are tanks! Mighty fine knife.

Thanks, fellas. I have been used to carrying a Buck 110 just loose in my pocket for years if I couldn’t carry in the sheath, so this Boker is no problem. It’s only 1/4” longer in blade and handle, twice as thin, and half the weight. :D

Thank you sir. Nice gnarly covers on that one, and I love the main blade shape. Your sig line - is that from 9 pound hammer? Sounds familiar. Like the TVZ version a lot. ::tu::

Here is my latest (on the way)....

I brightened the pictures best I could but it is hard to see the tang stamp.
It does say "IMPROVED CUTLERY" but that is all I can really read clearly.
Looks like top line might be "H BOKER..... something.... CO..... maybe"

Here is a few pics.....

Improved 1.jpg
Improved 2.jpg
Improved 4.jpg
Improved 5.jpg

It has one broken blade but I just had to have it.
The main blade is tipped but it should look pretty cool all cleaned up.

Nice! Those really old Bokers are very difficult to find at a decent price.

I have a somewhat similar pattern, also in "not the best" shape. The main blade is so loose, it rattles when you shake the open knife.

I'm not sure of the age of this one.... maybe y'all can tell me (turn of the century maybe??)
I tried to look it up, but not sure what it even says.....LOL

I can't wait to see what is under all that black on the main blade and the covers.

Surely the covers are bone.

Great looking knives gentlemen! ::tu:: ::nod::

I have a few Böker Solingen Solingen knives but I think this is my first real Boker USA knife. ::tu:: ::super_happy:: Willy did some researching for me and he said it may be from 1961. ::hmm:: It still has great snap on both blades. ::tu:: The handles have a few cracks but they are not loose so I am adding it to my EDC rotation. ::tu:: :D
