Re: My Latest Boker
I usually don't buy Boker knives, too much confusion on the "Country of Origin" issue for me. However, I was looking for a single blade folding Hunter in bone or stag, preferably not from a S.E. Asia maker, around the traditional 5 1/4" closed length. So I did a search and EVERY Case was some kind of commemorative or in Pakawood or some laminate.
Then I found the Boker 1010. At first I thought this wasn't coming from a country on my preferred list, but it says "Made in Germany." To top that, A.G. Russell had one, in limited quantities, for under $100 delivered. So I pulled the trigger. Can't wait to see it in hand.
I know this is a pretty common knife, anybody have one and what's your opinion? Thanks.

While looking for a single blade folding Hunter, I found this and couldn't pass it up. Didn't know anyone made a locking dual-blade folding Hunter? I need help.

Re: My Latest Boker
Wonder if Boker has anything planned with the knife's tang stamp coinciding with the calendar year?

Yehuda, those "HENRY BOKER" branded Boker knives are awesome. I have a couple of those and really love the bone on them!

Re: My Latest Boker
About a month ago I was looking for a single blade folding Hunter in stag. After looking everywhere except eBay, I found one being offered at AG Russell for a decent price. I also came across a dual blade lock-back folding Hunter made by Boker that I didn't even know existed. Here's the Yukon style folding Hunters, really pleased with their fit, finish and smooth motion opening, locking and closing. I'm a folding Hunter pattern fan, love both of these that Boker made.
