Lewis & Clark 2002 LTD

Hi all,
I just scored this Solingen made Boker 2002 Limited Edition canoe pattern, commemorating Lewis and Clark's expedition.
440C blade steel, nickel silver bolsters, and American walnut handles.

That's real nice. I like the compass shield. It's a classy touch for a good quality knife. Well done.

That is very nice and I also like that compass shield. They really done that well at Boker.
And what an incredible expedition
it was 1804-6. Guy at work bought all 3 books and shared em with me, with their own written words on the
whole journey and their journals were very detailed, daily reports on what they saw and how they survived.
It was an incredible read, one of the best I ever read.

This is a little off topic, sorry. I read that when the L & C expedition was over, and they got back to St. Louis, they held a public sale for all the equipment used by the group. Seems like they said the whole works brought around $800 in 1806 dollars. What would those items be worth today?
