Mahongany Stockman/
This Solingen Boker commemorates Knife Collectors. Boker makes good knives but when they make the effort to focus on aesthetics I believe they excel. Acquired from the Sharpnshinyknives collection the photos fail to capture the warm brown tone of the highly buffed mahogany wood. Carrying double shields on the scales with engraving on each blade. The knife is a 4" Stockman made in 1981.

"Fantastic", i can imagine how good the Mahogany looks, it is a beautiful wood, and photos, no matter how good, can never show the true character of the wood.

That's a beauty. I have seen a few of this one show up in online auctions, and for some reason they are usually missing one or both of the shields. So keep close watch on them.

The wood looks very deep QS. Very lovely and yes they can produce quality. Great pick up.

That's one of my favorites!
The wood is polished so nice, it looks a lot like the polished brown bone from the 1990s.

I could be mistaken, but I think those are mahogany smooth bone, not wood. Maybe on the paperwork it will confirm one or the other. Either way, a beautiful stockman!

Re: Mahongany Stockman/
black mamba, you are correct. The paperwork confirms the scales are bone. Nice catch!
Re: Mahongany Stockman/
Amazing, I thought for sure they were wood. Beautiful either way!
