The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Hey GSPTOPDOG yours has the no line tang stamp!!! Excellent!
I was thinking the stamp is from the 50's or 60's or there about. I don't see it on the tang stamp page. So, what year would this one have been made? ?
Maybe as early as late 1945 but 1946 or 47 for sure. I guess this should be included on the tang stamp page.

Sweet! That makes me love it even more! I like to acquire from Short-lines on back if at all possible. The older the better at least in knives... Not so much for my back, neck, knees and eyes...

Here are the latest pick-ups. A #72 and a 4-Line. I am not sure about the pattern # on the 4-Line, I could not find it in my book. Anyone out there know?

Not sure what model this is.
How long is it closed ? That’ll narrow it down some .
There’s also catalogs you can check out for this period of Camillus and back thru 1946 . Have found them very helpful when looking for model / pattern questions.
Welcome to the forum ,great place, great people!

It’ll be a #67 Premium stockman with the clip,Spey and sheepfoot blades . 68 has punch instead of Spey IIRC . And the 66 had white covers .
I didn’t look at the newer catalogs and am not that familiar with Camillus knives from this period but will agree with David . Being 3 and 7/8 inches closed and those blades it ought to be a #67 .

Yes, this is very similar to #67, but the main blade confuses me. I have never seen such a nail notch at this pattern.
Hey Vit, good to see you here posting
I don’t have a catalog for the OP knife . Here’ the newest version that’s on hand here . Are you saying it should be a long pull like this 67 ?

Yes. Camillus made knives from this pattern for many years. There have been changes, but not much.
(What is "OP knife"?)

My bad Vit. Should have typed Knife in question or something else . Typing OP,is habit !
Hope all is well as can be over there . Take care my Friend .
Very nice! I have seen a number of Camillus special editions, but not that one, and I've been through virtually all of the catalogs from post-WWII to '07-8.
