Show Us Your Camillus Knives!

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

I picked up this little dress knife today for a whole two bucks! The end of the file is squared off but other than that, it’s pretty...pretty!

I collect ALL patterns of Camillus knives. I concentrate mainly on #'s 72 & 1047, but I do have a small quantity of #14s. :D

I've often looked in on this thread but never posted here. I've accumulated enough Camillus knives now that I can probably qualify as a Camillus collector. :lol: Here are a few of my Camillus knives...

I just bought my 15th Camillus 14 (3 or 4 of them have been given away). Your post prompted me to take a cruise on the Bay and lo & behold, there was a short line 14 with bone handles and a BIN price I just couldn't pass up. Poor pictures but it looks to be in fair decent condition for it's age. Plenty of rise on the back spring for both blades and no apparent active rust or bad pitting. The main blade does appear to be a touch short. We'll see when it gets here.

Seller's picture of course.

Great looking knives, Sas!!! ::nod:: ::tu:: ::tu::

I just got this gem in the mail yesterday, I think the correct pattern is "Sunfish." I knew she had scale issues, guess I need to find someone who can do a decent patch job. I would prefer this type of repair over a scale replacement, so anyone can DM me if they're up for the task.

Thanks for looking. ::handshake::

Actually I do have a couple of swords but none of the Samurai persuasion. If it can cut, chop, slice, hack, or poke holes in things I've probably got at least one example of it around here somewhere. ::rotflol::
