Show Us Your Camillus Knives!
Re: Show Us Your Camillus Knives!
The "Swiss Army Knife" Stockman. A maker of the Swiss Army Knife, Wenger, did make one, but it's basically a common Stockman, with red nylon handles. Been trying to find both versions (clip/spey as well as clip/coping/spey) for ages. They're very rare.
But, as a Stockman that checks a lot of boxes, I nominate the Camillus-made Crosman Blades 910A. Has a big Turkish Clip blade, usually only seen on Stockman pattern knives. It also locks, which means I can ditch the mid-sized lockback. The lock release is huge, meaning glove-friendly. While I prefer a plain-edge coping/sheepsfoot blade (which is all I usually tend to use for most cutting chores), I like to have a blunt-tip or sheepsfoot serrated blade for emergency use, and heavy cutting. That means I can ditch the "EMT" style knife, usually a Spyderco Saver Salt. And a spey blade. So, one knife that does the job of three.
Both the 910A and the Schrade USA 89OT (both Large Stockmans with serrated coping blades) are hard to find. But, I personally prefer the 910A, even if it's stainless. The main reason, the master blade. It locks, and is a Turkish Clip. The 89OT is a slipjoint.

Re: Show Us Your Camillus Knives!
Here are 2 Camillus knives that are not often seen.
Pattern # 212, a "Smoker's Knife" designed for cleaning out and packing a pipe bowl, 2 7/8" closed length.
And a 3 blade "Green Wing", 3 3/8", three blade knife. A bit unusual as both the cap lifter/screwdriver blade and the awl have a liner lock, so 1 knife, 3 blades, 2 liner locks. It is the only Camillus i know of with 2 liner locks.

Re: Show Us Your Camillus Knives!
I received this one yesterday. Fished it out of the 'Bay. A new addition to my Craftsman family. A Craftsman 9473 Jr. Stockman. 3-3/8 inch closed, with Clip, spey, and pen blade. The handles are the redish brown composite, pre-delrin. It has the Craftsman shield without the crown. All blades have great snap, have some of the original luster but do have some scratches, spots and spiders. The Craftsman etch on the Clip blade is all but worn off and you really have to turn the blade at the correct angle to see a part of it. The Shield is "Up-side-down. I see no signs that it has been re-glued or ever off the knife. It is not super unusual, as I have a Pony Jack and I believe a 9472 that is the same way. The 9473 was only made from 1958 to 1966. But in 1964 Craftsman Knives started having the Craftsman Shield with the crown surrounding the word Craftsman. From 1962 and '63 Craftsman started having the Craftsman etch with the Crown on some of the knives main blade. So I'm going to estimate this one as pre 1963. Here are some pics

Re: Show Us Your Camillus Knives!
Thanks Floyd.
Appreciate it SKip.
Thank you JP and your welcome. I've been really going through the years of the Sears catalogs and trying to get an idea on the Blade designs, Blade Etches, notes on Handle colors, number changes, along with shield types and any shield inscriptions if it shows it. Does all the Sears Catalogs show a clear depiction and is it a true representation of the years??? Who knows. It could go a year either way depending on inventory at the time. But it does give a decent record of the model numbers, when they were changed in the catalogs, and what they were calling them at that point in time, along with the shields, and sometimes listing what the handles were. Most do have a decent view of blade shape, shield design, and wording of what they called the handles. Unless someone knows of a definitive book that has been written on Craftsman Knives, that would be great. But until then, the old Sears Catalogs is about the best reference on Craftsman Knives I've been able to find. Unfortunately, they do not show anything on Tang Stamp design and when they changed. This, I've been trying to compile by referencing Blade etch, shield, pattern number, and handle color used within a time frame of when the tang stamps may have been used and changed.

Re: Show Us Your Camillus Knives!
Added this one to my Camillus family today. A Camillus 715 from the Old Glory Series I think from 2001 or 2002. Blade is tight with no wobble, positive lock with no play, blade is in good shape and etch is still visible. Here are the pics.

Appreciate it JP.
Thanks Vit. I did not know that. I know little of the Old Glory Series, just what's been posted. I came across it and decided to add it to my Camillus group. If I find others I may add them, but haven't really thought seriously about trying to acquire the entire set.

Re: Show Us Your Camillus Knives!
Received another addition to my Pony Jacks yesterday. I had to do a warm mineral oil soak & rinse, and a little cleaning. A Camillus Long line tang stamp 21 Pony Jack with bone Handles. Main clip blade has great snap, with positive half stop and no wobble. The secondary pen blade has very week snap. Mark side handle has a tiny crack on lower edge to the right of the rear pin. Pile side handle has a small crack at the center pin.

Re: Show Us Your Camillus Knives!
This arrived this morning, in time for the Fourth Of July. It's a CAMILLUS (no pattern # stamped), single blade, American flag handles, 3 1/4" closed, lockback pocket knife with a "GOD BLESS AMERICA" blade etch. This is NOT the CAMILLUS 864(?) or 907F(?) that I previously posted under this topic/thread. It is in near mint condition and didn't need any cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

A feature of the #864 knife is the brushed stainless steel handle.
This model was produced from 1982 to 2006.
From 1982 to 1992 it was pattern 5761, and from 1993 to 2006 it was pattern 5818. It seems that when assembling the Ol 'Glory #907F, Camillus didn't really pay close attention to which blades were being put on it .
