1928 Sword Brand catalog pages

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Hey Dale
I often search ebay for Camillus and Sword brand catalogs
hoping to find something like these pages to help with
some of the missing information about Camillus
I know its not a factory catalog but with the early
information being so hard to find some of this helps fill the
blanks about the Camillus product lines

You're right Trav, any piece of information like this all goes together to give us an overall picture of what Camillus did make over the years.

I have a search on eBay for "catalog" but I didn't see this one show up. I'm glad you caught it.

If you don't mind I will forward these on to Larry Vickery for him to post on his website, Collectors of Camillus: http://www.collectors-of-camillus.us/

But, I won't forward them without your permission.

Thanks again!

Thanks for sharing Travman! Would it be possible to convert to a pdf or some such so one could enlarge it better - I can't read it when enlarged - it simply blurrs too much?

Willem, the AAPK forum software does not support the posting of PDF files in the forum.
I will e-mail the pages to you.

Was looking for some info on a Sword brand knife and thought would bump this old thread up . Looking for any catalogs pics for this old cigar Jack that just came home from along the Ohio River area . In the Catalog pages shown in the OP here shows the same knife but not sure the stamps are the same so looking for a 1916 to 1920 hardware store catalog cut out or ad page . That would put it in the same period as this old Cigar Jack . Any help or reference would be greatly appreciated .Thank you

Thanks Ike . It’s a beefy ,snappy old thing . And the 4 line stamped Etched Main with the old 1916 stamp on the Secondary this makes it my oldest 4 line I believe ? Not common to see the 2 stamps on one knife .
