camillus #72

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Picked up this 72 , came with box and it is like new condition. Not exactly sure about the etching and handle. This is not the 100 year anniversary model as some had thought . Have reread this thread and am still a little confused as too what this one is all about . Any feedback would be great .

It was made special for Sears as a run of 2000 and was in their 1991 Christmas advertiser.
