Dated Camillus

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

It joins my three STEVENSON 45's, a CAMILLUS 1949, a CAMILLUS 1957, the other CAMILLUS 1958, three CAMILLUS 1959's and a CAMILLUS 1960 MIL-K. It is in VERY GOOD condition and required very little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Another nice acquisition to your Steel Handled Knives Skip. ::tu:: You keep it up and we're gonna proclaim you the King of Steelies. When I was in the Army, there was one of these in every Mechanics tool box as per our Units Table of Organization Equipment or T.O.& E. There was also one allocated in the Recovery Vehicles Tool set, Most Repair sets, and when I was with Combat Engineers, in every Pioneer Box. We generically called them Steelies.
Steelies, yep remember the guys calling em that. Thanks for bringing that up Smitty.
Skip ,another great save and score ::tu:: ::tu::
Your proclamation for King of Steelies, kind of has a ring to it,don’t you think!!!
