Remington knives by Camillus

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Actually I kind of like the knife, very well made but I'm having a hard time getting past the odd/weird scales.
I think they called that Dura-Stag® but I can't swear to it. Not the most attractive handles they ever made.

This Yello-Jaket was an SFO for SMKW in about 1992.

I had one of the Bear folding hunters also but was not real impressed with the finish on it and it has been traded.

I have an 89 and a 72 with these scales. I've seen it called Stagalon. I don't know if that was a Camillus name or a moniker somebody else coined.

OP, knice knives. ::tu::

[quote="Colonel26"] I've seen it called Stagalon. I don't know if that was a Camillus name or a moniker somebody else coined.

Staglon was a Schrade name (made of Delrin® or course). Camillus called a similar handle design made of Delrin®, "Indian Stag" (but not all the time :lol: ).
