Camillus Boy Scout knives

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

I just bought this knife for best offer. It's a CAMILLUS, 3 blade, scout pocket knife with bail. It is the "75th ANNIVERSARY - BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA - 1910-1985 pocket knife. It looks like it's in EXCELLENT condition and won't need any cleaning. I'll look it over when I receive it, take some pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s).

For me, it is the ultimate EDC. The screwdriver and awl, in other words, the tools that WILL close up on you and cause you to bleed (especially the awl) have locks, but the blade does not. It is just right in my sizing, and the slotted screwdriver will fit most Phillips screws. If I need a can opener, I'll attach a P-51 to the bail using a tiny Nite-Ize S-shaped carabiner that came as a part of a modular keyring (I took all the S-Biners off to use as lanyard attachments).

Received this one earlier this week. Camillus #1047 Boy Scout Swell Center Whittler. It has the later tang stamp ('89 until they closed) with the round scout shield. This is just as I received it. I've only oiled the joints.
