Last Camillus Production ??

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

I have no idea who or what "WARNER" is in reference to.
Warner Products is a company that has a lot of metal, and plastic products you find in Hardware stores or home improvement stores, such as putty knives,cement trowels, paint mixer blades, Paint wall scrapers, Glazier knives, concrete, grout and mortar spreading & texturing tools. I think they even have aluminum stools in their product line. So I was just wondering if it could have been possibly a SFO for them.

Added this one to my Camillus Family this week. The Single Blade Camillus "WHAT-A-Knife. I don't think it's been used, and blades don't show any signs of being put on a stone. Great snap and positive half stop on the blade. Gotta love the Steelies.

You guys are a influence on this ol guy,now going to have to get one and check it out. Really like the single blade piece,it looks like it’s nice and slim and would ride in the pocket nicely. And a Camillus like you said ::tu::

They are light in the pocket JP. Kinda like those SAK Solo single blades. If I'm carrying one, I have to check from time to time that it's still there.

This was waiting for me at the post office this morning. It is a CAMILLUS DURA-TOOL, single blade, 4" closed, double line tang stamp, all metal, hawkbill pruner pocket knife. It has a VERY crisp half stop and a VERY wicked snap. It is in EXCELLENT condition. I gave it a very minor cleaning, took some pictures and here it is.

A good looking Dura-Tool Hawk Bill Skip. They do have some awesome snap, and some very positive lock up of the liner lock. Congrats! ::tu:: ::tu:: You might think about posting it in the Steelies thread. viewtopic.php?f=63&t=72358

I don't want to re-post each of my WHAT-A-KNIFE &
DURA-TOOL pocket knives. But, I will post a group
picture(s) of them as soon as I'm able, under the
"Steelies" topic. ::tu:: ::tu::

Good looking group OSCAR. ::tu:: ::tu:: So far, I have all but the Dura-Tool electrician. Have found a couple, but they were in very rough shape. I'll wait until a good one comes along.

Papa Bones, I got mine awhile back and they were easier to find then. One or two of them came from sellers here on AAPK.

Thanks ! I wish I could find more. Some were made with enamel painted American flag motifs over the steel handles but they are way too expensive.
