Last Camillus Production ??

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Today, another Camillus, single blade, WARNER pocket knife, joins my collection.
It required no cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Yesterday I added this pocket knife to my collection. It's a CAMILLUS, single blade, "WHAT-A-KNIFE" pocket knife. It didn't need any cleaning. This is NOT the same CAMILLUS, single blade, "WHAT-A-KNIFE" pocket knife that I previously posted here, under this topic. I took some pictures and here it is.

I figured it was time for a CAMILLUS, "WARNER", "WHAT-A-KNIFE" and "DURA-TOOL" pocket knife group portrait. Here they are.

Nice group! Is the bottom one a 4 blade knife? Can opener, spear point, awl, and cap lifter.

I’ve never seen one marked dura tool.

Neat knife.

Thank you.🍻
The bottom pocket knife in the first picture is the DURA-TOOL.
It is also the last picture. It has one blade and one tool.
Dale, aka orvet, has a DURA-TOOL hawkbill pocket knife posted on page 2.

Received this one yesterday. A Camillus Workhorse Duratool in the pack. This is the first Duratool I've added to my Camillus family.

This morning I added this, all metal pocket knife to my collection. It's another CAMILLUS, single blade, 3 1/16" closed, "WHAT-A-KNIFE" pocket knife. This is my 6th, single blade pocket knife of this pattern/style. Four are "WHAT-A-KNIFE" pocket knives and two are "WARNER" pocket knives. All have been previously posted under this topic/thread. It didn't need any cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Another nice find and addition to your Steelies!! ::tu:: I've got a question on the ones you have with "Warner" on them. Were these produced by Camillus for Warner Products?

I have no idea who or what "WARNER" is in reference to.
I actually never gave it much thought, I just accepted it as just
"one of those things." ::shrug::

Warner Products is a company that has a lot of metal, and plastic products you find in Hardware stores or home improvement stores, such as putty knives, cement trowels, paint mixer blades, Paint wall scrapers, Glazier knives, concrete, grout and mortar spreading & texturing tools. I think they even have aluminum stools in their product line. So I was just wondering if it could have been possibly a SFO for them.

Added this one to my Camillus Family this week. The Single Blade Camillus "WHAT-A-Knife. I don't think it's been used, and blades don't show any signs of being put on a stone. Great snap and positive half stop on the blade. Gotta love the Steelies.

You guys are a influence on this ol guy,now going to have to get one and check it out. Really like the single blade piece,it looks like it’s nice and slim and would ride in the pocket nicely. And a Camillus like you said ::tu::

They are light in the pocket JP. Kinda like those SAK Solo single blades. If I'm carrying one, I have to check from time to time that it's still there.

This was waiting for me at the post office this morning. It is a CAMILLUS DURA-TOOL, single blade, 4" closed, double line tang stamp, all metal, hawkbill pruner pocket knife. It has a VERY crisp half stop and a VERY wicked snap. It is in EXCELLENT condition. I gave it a very minor cleaning, took some pictures and here it is.

A good looking Dura-Tool Hawk Bill Skip. They do have some awesome snap, and some very positive lock up of the liner lock. Congrats! ::tu:: ::tu:: You might think about posting it in the Steelies thread. viewtopic.php?f=63&t=72358
