What is Your Latest Old Camillus? (pre-1960)

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

On the contrary. At first there were without pins and with "Sword Brand" tang stamp, then with pins and a standard tang stamp.
Well i was told pinned handles came first by one of the 'Camillus guys', possibly Mr. Gibbs. But whichever came first, pinned handles make for a more interesting knife than glue on handles

Landed a mint short line 33, no bail, most of these I've seen seem to have a bail.

I posted this in the "camillus #72" topic yesterday. It belongs in this topic also as it is my "Latest Old Camillus" and it's pre-1960. It's a CAMILLUS 72, 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, short line, "whittler" pocket knife (First Generation 72).

I picked this one up earlier last week. A #23 Large Equal End Jack with handles Camillus called Grain White Pyroxylin, which I understand is a type of celluloid. The blades have many minute scratches, but have excellent snap with no wobble, and has some of the original luster. I've done nothing to the knife other than oil the joints.
