Camillus 72 Clones

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

This pocket knife arrived very recently and became the latest to join this topic or thread and my CAMILLUS "72" variation/wannabe/clone collection. It is an UNBRANDED, 3 blades, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. It has a "bird" shield. This is my second "72" variation/wannabe pocket knife with a "bird" shield. I can not find any remains of a tang stamp on any of the blades. I believe it was made in China or Pakistan. The country of origin, in this case, does NOT matter to me. It didn't need any cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

I have no complaints about this one. ::tu::
My other "bird" shield pocket knife (previously posted),
was a POOR attempt to pass as a CATTARAUGUS manufactured pocket knife. ::td::

This afternoon, I added these two pocket knives to this topic or thread and to my CAMILLUS 72 variation/wannabe collection. They are both YORK CUTLERY, SOLINGEN GERMANY and each has 3 blades, a swelled center, 2 tang stamps, each measures 3 5/8" closed and both are "whittler" pocket knives. They came with the box. They are both in EXCELLENT condition and required no cleaning. I took some pictures and here they are.
