Camillus 66

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Picked up an unused 66 Stockman, from what I can figure out they don't seem to be very common.

I had one of those, but it didn't look nearly as good as yours. That's real nice. ::nod::

Beautiful knife! Yesterday, I thought I had a pattern #15 that Meridian Mike was asking about, I didn't. ::dang::
Today it's a pattern #66. Again, I thought I had one, I don't. ::dang:: Makes me wonder which pattern # is next. ::shrug::
Good going JohnR! ::tu::

I know some of our newer members were not here when Tom Williams was with us, but Tom was the official historian for Camillus Cutlery. He shared with me a story in 2010 that I posted in the thread NUGGETS OF CAMILLUS HISTORY FOR CAMILLUS ENTHUSIASTS. You can read the story Tom shared with me about the Camillus #66.
I think you’ll enjoy it.

Thank you all for the comments, Vit, thanks for the movie shots, that's something else that a fairly hard to find knife was in a movie. You have a great Camillus collection.

Thanks again. A little over 15 years. I took notice of Camillus when the news of his bankruptcy came in and I was hooked :) .
