Kastor & Bros - Adolphus Busch Bartender Tool.

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Kastor & Bros - Adolphus Busch Bartender Tool.

Post by New_Windsor_NY »

Do you have a KASTOR & BROS - ADOLPHUS BUSCH - Bartender Tool? I've seen a few of these "tools", from different makers, on a couple of different forums. I haven't seen a thread that's "dedicated" to them. I'll start with this KASTOR that I just recently acquired, but haven't received yet. I don't know if the Stanhope/"viewer" functions or not. It also doesn't have the little pouch. It has two tang stamps on each blade. The one below, third picture, I can make out. The other stamp(s), fourth picture, I don't know. Maybe STAINLESS STEEL? ::shrug:: Here is a link to a very informative article: http://www.stanhopemicroworks.com/blog2 ... knife.html

Well, it arrived. An A. KASTOR & BROS, NEW YORK, ADOLPHUS BUSCH, 2 blade, 2 tool pocket knife. No, Mr. Busch is not present. I may invest the money to have Mr. Busch "reinstalled." Each blade has two tang stamps. It's in pretty good condition. It didn't require a serious cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
