All I gotta say is.... you a lucky duck for finding one in such good shape and with the additional catalog and papers. Very nice my friend. I would also like to see which catalog was inside.thestretch71 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 16, 2021 5:08 am I found a cool Counter Sales Display last year.
There was an old catalog inside which listed this model display as #85.
I wish I could buy all the knives that are listed on the display at those sticker prices.

Per your request.
Cover - Front & Back.
Based on the Factory Picture, I would date this catalog to no later than 1972.
All the cars I can see are definitely late 60's but the distinctive gold AMC gremlin parked all by itself helps the dating.
The Gremlin was not sold until 1970.

VERY nice finds!
According to this site (click the link), that catalog dates
to 1972, 1973 or 1974.
http://www.collectors-of-camillus.us/Ca ... talogs.htm
and at this site, 1973.

Arriving yesterday afternoon, this pocket knife box became the latest item to be added to this topic or thread and to my CAMILLUS ephemera collection. It is a CAMILLUS, pattern "51" (BARLOW) pocket knife box. Overall, it is in GOOD condition with just some general wear.

Arriving yesterday afternoon, this pocket knife box became the latest item to be added to this topic or thread and to my CAMILLUS ephemera collection. It is a CAMILLUS, pattern #12220, pocket knife box. This is my first CAMILLUS pocket knife box with this type or style of label. The box itself is in FAIR+ condition with just some general wear. The label is good enough until I find another box that is in much better condition. I took some pictures and here it is. The LAST picture for comparison, is of a CAMILLUS pocket knife box, previously posted under this topic or thread by Miller Bro's, a.k.a., Dimitri.

Re: Camillus Ephemera
Awesome, Skip, thanks for posting! That is an interesting box, I like the "made by American cutlers" , as well as the reference to S. & C. Wardlow rather than just crucified steel as seen on later boxes. Congratulations on a great find!New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 3:00 pm Arriving yesterday afternoon, this pocket knife box became the latest item to be added to this topic or thread and to my CAMILLUS ephemera collection. Re: Camillus Ephemera
This morning, my trip to the post office produced this item.
It is a CAMILLUS CUTLERY COMPANY, 75th anniversary (1876-1951), matchbook.
It has NO matches left in it. Overall, it is in VERY GOOD condition.
That "tear" you see is actually a minor crease, magnified by the picture.
