Anyone have "Short-Line Fever"? It's better than Covid-19

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Yesterday, this pocket knife got added to my collection. It's a CAMILLUS 72, 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, short line tang stamp, 2nd generation, "whittler" pocket knife. It needed very little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Today, this pocket knife joined my "general" CAMILLUS collection. It's a CAMILLUS 23, 2 blade, short line, 4 7/32" closed pocket knife. This is my second "23", but my first short line "23." It needed a little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

It's a looker! I saw this one, or one that looked extremely similar, paired up with a 1 in an eBay lot. Were you the lucky bidder?

Very recently I added this to my "general" CAMILLUS pocket knife collection. It is a CAMILLUS 1, single blade, hawkbill, 4" closed, liner lock, short line pocket knife. Actually and surprisingly, it's the only #1 that I have. It isn't the nicest looking #1 that I've seen, but it isn't the worst looking #1 that I've seen either. It has a lot of life left in it. It needed cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Great find Skip. That one looks good. Like yourself, I have also seen a lot worse. They were working knives and usually are extremely worn.
