Post your Slenderino Knives

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

Everything about this knife is perfect - the bone, the milling and the all nickel look always makes a knife stand out imho. Nice one ::tu::

Cal you already know what I have (and had) up my sleeve lately, but I know you could really spring some surprises on all of us. :D ::poke::

Thanks for the comments guys. I like that wavy redhead 861, a beauty she is.

I ran into this 861 for a bargain price that I just couldn't resist. Minty unsharpened condition with just a couple of tiny specks on the main blade. It's not quite the same as the old bone beauties, but I like it.

Thank you Cal. It's a dandy little thing.

Here's another slenderino I just got, going back to the big ones. This one has seen some use and will be seeing more, unlike my other 861's.

Here is one that did not make it into the Schrade Walden line-up, but it should have. This example is almost un-used but has some water damage. Still has a little snap, nickel silver liners and blah blah; I am liking it quite a bit.

It certainly has already, though when it comes to heavy work I'll go with a delrin one. Thanks. ::tu::

I like that one Cal, it is most certainly a winner. The spey and punch combo makes them so very svelte.
