Schrades are better in groups

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

Saw blade collection. 3 buzzsaws and a Son of a Gun. Top is the standard 97 OT, next two are different duck versions and then the walnut handled Son of a Gun. Photographed on a hard rock maple Tell city (another great out of business American co.) table top.

Nice Schrades on a nice back drop! Though those knives are too nice to use, the saws look like they'd be very effective.

Thanks Mike! I waited nearly 5 months to get the oldest item. I'm always super-excited when I pull the trigger on a new treasure chest.

Thanks Cal! I've decided not to sell it after all. It's just too nice. I'll make ends meet somehow lol

Picked up a few nice ones this last month.
There's a couple of 77OT's in nice condition, three 34OT's in good shape (a couple of factory seconds in there), another 8OT in great shape, a couple of 18OT's and a 72OT.
