Re: Imperial Mexico
Here are ALL of the "Imperial Mexico" pocket knives that I have, so far, that are posted under this topic or thread.
It is time for some group pictures. Also posted, are the tang stamps that are represented by these pocket knives.
The majority of these are "PASTOR ALEMAN" stamped. Since today is the 5th of May or "Cinco de Mayo", in keeping
with the theme of this topic or thread, I decided that today would be an appropriate day to post these.
Captions, if any, are on the BOTTOM of the corresponding picture(s).

Re: Imperial Mexico
It has been quite some time now since I added a piece of cutlery to this topic or thread and to my collection. This afternoon, I added this pocket knife to this topic or thread and to my collection. It is an IMPERIAL MEXICO, single blade, single tang stamp, 1 1/2" closed (not including the bail), pocket knife. It is in EXCELLENT condition. It didn't need to be cleaned. I took some pictures (I do apologize for the quality or lack of) and here it is.

***** NOTE (Better Pictures) *****
The small, miniature, tiny little pocket knife pictured, is identical to a previously posted pocket knife.
It is the very first IMPERIAL MEXICO pocket knife that I obtained and posted under this topic or thread.

Re: Imperial Mexico
Here's something I haven't seen before - a NOS Cumosa! The outer bag was torn open by the seller so he could get some pics but the two plastic bags inside containing the parts haven't been opened. This looks like it could have been manufactured yesterday - it's flawless. I'm going to stick it in the back of the safe and try to forget about it because I'm having a really tough time not tearing it open and putting it together.New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Sat May 08, 2021 4:09 pm ***** For Posterity *****

Thanks Skip I thought you might like this one. I think these kits were mainly sold in the 70s, maybe even into the early 80s. Wouldn't it be great if there were automatic kits like this one available via mail order today?

Re: Imperial Mexico
Arriving recently, this pocket knife became the latest example to be added to this topic or thread and also to my "South Of The Border" collection. It's a CUCHILLERIA, IMPERIAL MEXICO, two blades, single tang stamp, pocket knife with bail. It measures 3 3/8" closed, not including the bail. The tang stamp reads "CUCHILLERIA - IMPERIAL - MEXICO" This knife "brand" is part of the Imperial and Colonial, Mexico story or connection. It is in VERY GOOD condition. It did need a little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Re: Imperial Mexico
That is a good looking knife Skip. Really like the handles with the shield. The brass or plated bail sets it all together. Nice find and another nice addition to your South of The Border group.New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 11:30 pm Arriving recently, this pocket knife became the latest example to be added to this topic or thread and also to my "South Of The Border" collection.
