value of a very good condition no box no paper no sheath Schrade USA LB5

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

Look at Sold listings on eBay and you will see that unboxed ones seem to sell for $15 - $30 plus shipping, usually with a sheath. Is it a user or are you into Boeing collectibles?

Even with the Boeing ad, to me, the price asked is about double what it's worth. Aerospace is something I do collect in terms of ad knives, but regardless of what it is, I view advertising as being detrimental to the value; and usually offer less because of it.

The LB5 is a great knife, feels perfect in hand. It should be worth $45 in never used condition. However it isn't. Right now prices for Schrade USA knives are low, as low as i have seen them since Schrade closed in 2004.
I have a couple of NIB Schrade LB5 with sheath but won't sell them at the current rock bottom prices. I think it should be worth about $50.

From what I can see in the picture of the OP knife I would say $15. I've seen Buck 110 and 112 go for $20.
A brand new Buck 110 can be bought for $37.99.
