SMKW and some sellers on ebay (who likely got them from SMKW) are listing a whole lot of stag lockbacks at the moment.
These current knives appear to have been recently completed from assorted Schrade USA parts.
You can easily tell that they were not finished in the Schrade factory pre-2004 by inspecting the lockbar pin. Schrade spun them so they have a pointy dome shape. The knives in question have the lockbar pin ground flat and flush in the same way as the two handle pins.
(bottom knife is genuine Ellenville Schrade knife)
I notice another big difference and this is why I started the thread. These knives appear to have brass pivot pins to match the brass bolsters. That would be a really bad idea because the soft brass would wear too fast. Schrade used the same hardened steel for the pivot pin as they used for the blade.
Some things to consider perhaps. Buyer beware! https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odkw=& ... g&_sacat=0
