After spending some time searching the internet I think I have what seems to be "rare". The knife is a George Schrade with the 9-21-26 patent date and has a nice copper blade. Here is the link to my photos of the knife:

I have used a magnet and it doesn't stick. In the photos, I have the blade next to a chunk of aged copper pipe. I'm confident that it is indeed a copper blade.
I am curious as to insurance value on this knife?
I do collect other things and know that things that were once rare are no longer due to online auction sites. I've read that the resident wire jack guru has only seen one in his collecting. Is this knife still considered rare?
Thanks for taking the time to read the post and thanks for any information.
Jason

Hi. Here is a response to part of your question from Mr. Bill Schrade.

I don't know what the value would be but a word of caution - don't sharpen it. Copper beryllium dust will wreck your lungs.tundrareef wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 8:22 amThe knife is a George Schrade with the 9-21-26 patent date and has a nice copper blade.

Thanks for the advise on sharpening! I did see that. I collect other old things and prefer the patina look as opposed to the clean, like new look, so this knife will remain as it is. I guess I shouldn't drink the mercury or snort the arsenic that came with it I'll have to take the mercury and arsenic to the mining store later this week and dispose of it properly.
Any suggestions as to where I could find the value of such a knife? Maybe I'll check at the mining store to see if you can buy knives like this? Maybe Glen Davis could suggest a value, as it seems he is the only one to have come across one?
Any information that I gather I will share back with the group.
Thanks, guys.

Always good to check the sold listing on ebay.
