Inferior Stainless Steel

Post by keithw »

I noticed on the Olbertz website: http://www.pocketknives.de/
that they are now using 4034 stainless steel.
From what I can gather, it is a very low quality steel. ::facepalm::
Below is a link to an AAPK discussion on 4034.

Their carbon steel still seems very good, but I would be wary of a new Eye Brand with stainless blades.

I'm weary of any new eye. I like the oldies, the steel can't be beat.
