Yellow Sodbuster Lockback

Post by pearlroosterman »

Does anyone know where I might find a yellow lockback sodbuster ? Found one at a gun show back in 1975. Let someone talk me out of it.... Thank you, John Davis

I dont believe Case makes a lockback sodbuster so you'll have to go with Boker or Moore Maker. Here's a link for the Boker.

I’m sorry I did not make my request clear. Looking for a German Eye Brand yellow lockback sodbuster. Thank you very much.

There is one for sale in one of the AAPK member stores. Go to "Shop AAPK Stores by: Brand", and scroll to "German Eye". Then scroll through the listings for the yellow lockback.

I had an 'older' Eye Brand yellow sod buster and the handle on one side broke down and off gassed ! I had no idea that some of these have celluloid handles.

Edit: Correction: it was a large (4 1/4") Stockman that off gassed. You can see pictures towards the bottom of this page: viewtopic.php?f=65&t=51401&p=555367#p555367
