Straight line black bone stockman

Post by Colonel26 »

I just got this one in the mail today, traded a Texas friend out of it (Mr. Ray this one light to look familiar to you) and I’m right proud to have it. 3 1/2” black bone, straight line stamped on all the blades.

It’s a good match for my 4” straight line stamped one! Only the 4” knife is only stamped on the clip and spey. Does that mean the bigger knife is a tad newer?

Good thought and maybe right, Col.
The shape of the shield on the 3½" is what I call the newer shield. It is just slightly different than the one on the 4" knife. Both seem to have the Eye Logo stamped on the pile side of the clip blade so they are both what I call older knives.
Nice pair.
