1976 Case 6318. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Almost everyday in my pocket… white synthetic mini copperlock
I polish the bolsters often with Case paste to keep it looking good
I keep it sharpened with this little Lansky
Works for me

Re: Do YOU have a CASE XX knife in YOUR pocket today?????
There is a tutorial section in the home page of the forums. If you go to the main forums list and pic a topic (general knife discussion, knife repair ect), there is a box top left to start a new thread. Hope this helps some and welcome aboard.

Nice knife. Very nice. Tank of a knife. I carry one just like it.
Can't beat a 31 SAB. Although, I am fond of it's flat blade brother, the 31-1/2 pattern, as well. Great frame.
Welcome!

My father bought this stockman for me new in the late 70's. It's been used hard as a most boys will do, but it still gets brought out for occasional carry.
Thinning out my knifes. Take a look at what I have for sale.

Love it and has served you well. That would have been purchased when buying a new knife was a pleasure. You went and looked and actually held the knife, beats having to buy online.

My Dad bought me a NIB 1974 6445 CASE Scout Knife in 1974 for $14 bucks on a family trip to Indiana at a flea market. Carried it for a bit in the Boy Scouts.
I thought it was long gone until my Dad passed in 2012. He had wisely accrued said knife and rat holed it for 38 years and there it was in collection.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane timb. I still have in my EDC collection now 49 years later. Rarely carry it. Took out just now for oil and blue magic cleanup
.Tons of memories tied to this knife...
