what is the rarest case knife you have??

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Ken, sorry I just saw your post in the old rare ones thread so I'm posting my knife here also.

Hadn't seen this stamping before on a Case knife but couldn't pass it up. Love these old pocket worn knives!

I did come across this picture that looks just like it... but Case Bros

Thanks for letting me show it here,
Randy

Ridgegrass, nice find! Sorry I missed seeing your post of it sooner!

Great old knife Randy. ::tu::

Cool knives everyone! ::tu::

And a nice save Herb! ::tu:: Love it when old knives get "Reborn"! ::tu:: ::nod::

Came across this Tested XX the other day on eBay. Got lucky on it. Offered the guy €40 ($49) with shipping and he accepted my offer. ::uc:: Made him an offer on another nice knife today. See if I get lucky again. :lol:

Anyways, it's a 3 3/8" Torpedo Jack with Gum-Fuddy handles. Ken said it's probably a 6214 1/2. Thanks for the Info Ken. ::handshake:: It has some blade ware but other than that, it's in pretty good condition. ::tu:: Good SNAP & solid half stops. Handles are in great shape. Pins look good. ::tu:: Need a little cleaning but that's part of the fun sometimes. I kinda enjoy doing some cleaning. ::nod::

Thanks for looking friends! ::handshake:: :D

Nice find! I agree, from what I see it’s stag. You didn’t show the pile side, seeing that might confirm.

Not very often seen Case Winterbottom. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a ‘91 with a spay secondary. ::hmm::

What do you see that differentiates Winterbottom from stag like this?
