The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. 1991 jigged bone 6347HP. Say what you will about the post-Parker Case output, but I really dig this style of bone.

Thanks, John. ::handshake:: I like buffalo horn almost as much as deer horn and I couldn't say no to the price last year on ebay. Those peanuts make great little pocket scalpels and they don't scare the general public when you pull one out.

The Case I'm carrying today is fairly new as well, but it didn't leave the factory like this...

David, thats a fine lookin' Case, those 47 patterns can be described as a "pleasant knife"! I think rounded bolsters are starting to appeal to me. :)
