Customized Sunfish/Elephant Toe Nail or ????
This one caught my eye on the bay. I'm just wondering if is a pattern 50 that someone "customized" or another pattern that I'm not familiar with? I can't believe it simply wore down that way.

Like someone tried to turn it into a weird Canoe pattern, or they really wanted an easy opener.

The old Preacher used to say, "It's might thin coin that don't have two sides". Looks like the knife is well used and probably bought to use as a tool so it apparently it made somebody happy even if it does break our hearts.

I think your right treefarmer. Someone made it to fit there taste or purposes and although I'd never do that to such a nice knife & it is almost a crime to any knife enthusiast, I would buy it as an EDC/Work knife or for a tackle box, tool box, or even as a tool for cleaning & fixing up other abused knives if it was cheap enough.
