Amber sure is pretty!

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Steve, if that's close to Portland I've been there. Early 2000s I believe, I think you could trade pelts for 🤑🤑🤑

Up 95, cross the bridge from NH into ME, 3 minutes and you're there. Portland is about an hour farther up 95.

As I was going through some of my old pictures, I came across this one I sold a few months ago and thought about this thread. It's the first year Case XX 4-H commemorative and one of the more rare & sought after amber bone knives I've seen.

I've never been a big fan of the commemorative knives, but this one seems to get a lot of love.
