Help with a Case stockman.

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Help with a Case stockman.

Post by zed6309 »

Hi guys , I've been offered this case stockman in a trade for a old discontinued leatherman multi tool I have, the leatherman is valued around £90 , I dont know a huge amount about Case values, i think this is a 70's model ? Any help with this knife would be hugely appreciated ::tu::
Thanks
Paul

That looks like a 1976 knife, probably a 5347. Current value is somewhere around U.S.$150. Check eBay sold listings to confirm. Probably about an even trade if your value is correct on the Leatherman. So it comes down to which you like best. ::hmm::

Thanks Ken that's great info mate ::tu:: I do like the look of the knife and happy it's a older one , I think I'll probably do the trade as this case also looks like a good daily carry as well, plus I've no stag handled pocket knives ::tu::
