Anyone for a chuckle?

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

As Ken said, the knife is an authentic Case 6465. Has been cleaned/buffed.

Still a rare and valuable knife even with the cleaning.

Here is one that I have with yellow celluloid handles.

Thanks for clarifying that, Ken and Steve. I was under the impression that the knife in the OP was a Frankenknife that someone had cooked up. Nice to know that such a pattern actually exists.

As usual a “Search” will find legitimate examples of the pattern here on AAPK. (You just have to know the pattern number to search for). Here’s one such example. viewtopic.php?f=66&t=66628&p=812552&hilit=6465#p812492

Thank you Ken and Steve for your post.
When I saw the OP I thought it was legit, but I wasn't completely sure. I didn't want to say anything in case I was mistaken.
