When I opened the standard Case box and slid the knife out, I noticed something a bit odd. The knife paper wrap has a slight Orange Color to it.
All my prior Case knives over the years have come with the standard boring recycled brown color as below.
Totally ignoring the knife, my eyes stayed focused on the new wrapper, as I unfolded the standard 7 & 7/8" by 6" paper and flattened it out with the palm of my hand. I noticed many of the Case Trademarks Case has used over the years imprinted on the paper.
Still ignoring the new Halloween knife, I took the paper to the kitchen and laid it out on the counter. It was till somewhat crumbled up but luckily not torn. My wife (The Queen Bee) looked at me very oddly, (Which is a common look) and asked "What on Earth are you doing now?" I attempted to explain, she blinded me with silence and retrieved the steam iron and advised me to "go away." I returned to my cage and finally admired my new Case Happy Halloween knife.
A few minutes later, she brought me the freshly ironed and flattened Case Paper wrap inserted within a Plastic Sheet Wrapper. She had also enlarged it to 11" X 8 1/2" on quality photo paper.
Has anyone else received this new Case knife wrap in any other Case pattern?
