Case Canoe transition set

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Case Canoe transition set

Post by Beavertail »

I bought this in 1989 and was wondering what the current value would be.
Pardon the cobweb.

eBay sold listings are probably be your best reference for pricing.

Looks like this set sold for $350.

This set is currently listed with a starting bid of $300 with 4 days left in the auction. Guess we'll see what it goes for in a few days.

I hate to suggest this, but you might make more if you sold the knives individually. As a collector, I prefer a complete set but there are a lot of people who will want just one of those Canoes and they will pay more individually for the one they want rather than the entire set.

I figured they would sell better if sold individually.
I still have the boxes for them and the COA.
Thanks so much for the information! ::handshake::
I haven't decided yet what to do wit them.
