Shepherd Hills Exclusive - Sunflower Synthetic complete collection

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Shepherd Hills Exclusive - Sunflower Synthetic complete collection

Post by centennialknives »

As mentioned in another posting, I'm just sharing some collections within my collection. This is a Shepherd Hills exclusive -- the Sunflower Synthetic handle series. This is the complete set, picked up late last year. I think they still have the remainder for sale. Anyway, I love the yellow synthetic that Case has, a timeless classic handle in my opinion. When I saw these yellow Sunflower Synthetics, had to have them. It really stands out! They are, from top to bottom:

Small Stockman 4333 SS
Small Texas Toothpick 410096 SS
Peanut 4220 SS
Medium Stockman 4318 SS
Mini Trapper 4207 SS
Trapper 4254 SS

Very nice looking! I've been considering the Peanut for sometime. I like to buy from Sheperd Hills but I don't care for how they show their knives. They don't use an actual photo so one is often left to a leap of faith or find one on another site to see what it actually looks like. Your pic shows just how nice this color actually is. Thanks for posting.
