Re: Remington's RH Pattern Fixed Blade Knives
I have a fixed blade Remington without a number- it has Remington DuPont on one side with black hard rubber handles- I was wondering if someone could help me with a number? Thanks for any input! 8 1/2” total length

Looks like an RH43 , numbers were inked on and wore off quickly .Originally 9" long overall with 4 1/2" flat grind blade .A fairly scarce knife.

Got a couple more RH knives, although one is a Pal.

Those are very nice. I will add a couple that are out of my dad’s collection that I just sent to my oldest son not sure if he has the bug.
Thank you very much
Steve
The Rh38 my dad has written in his book no file marks. No air conditioning in his house not sure if that is where the rust came from. I am looking for a sheath and any recommendations on how to carefully clean the rust.Thank you very much

Re: Remington's RH Pattern Fixed Blade Knives
More dandy knives! I would take some very fine steel wool and a bit of oil to the light rust. Others may have a better way.LKSKNIVES wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 12:52 am Those are very nice.
