Help Identifying This knife

The Remington Corporation and the knives that they built have influenced the U.S. cutlery industry more than nearly any other manufacturer. From the time America was settled, to the end of WWI, American knife companies struggled to compete with Britain and German imports, but events that occurred during and after the First World War led to a great change in this phenomenon. Unprecedented opportunities arose, and Remington stepped up to seize the moment. In the process, they created some of today's most prized collectables. In an ironic twist, the next World War played the greatest role in ending the company’s domination of the industry.

Welcome to AAPK! Start in the “ RESEARCH” section here (found up there at the very top of the page in the light gray header). Click on it, which will take you here https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/page/research.php. Scroll down until you find Remington. Have fun!

Nice knife, still has a lot of life left, or could be collectible depending on your preference. ::tu:: May be a reproduction if the handle covers are Delrin (plastic). Hard to tell for sure from your pictures but I’m guessing that may be the case.

Thanks,
I reviewed all that and couldn't find anything that compared, no number, no shield and no comparable pictures.

That appears to be a knife that was given away with packages of Remington 22 ammo in the late 70's- early 80's.
