Great looking little knife Joe. And I concur that it has beautifully aged bone on the handles!

You are sum'thin else Keith! I think you have a time machine and your going back and forth pick in' up knives! Great looking set and again hard to come by especially in that condition. Amazing collection Keith!
By the way do you have a key for your upright Remington DuPont counter top display? I have one but the door on back is locked. Wondered if it would fit mine and if a copy could be made.

If this is the display you are referring to I actually have 2 keys as your luck would have it. Let me know.

Thanks Keith but I'm showing the pics of it in a different thread. It's the upright model in natural wood.

The yellow one I have not found a good example yet.Remumc wrote:Mighty fine group of knives. Where is the yellow one?espn77 wrote:Here is a RH104 on top and RH204 in the middle and bottom all with sheaths.
Re: Remington's RH Pattern Fixed Blade Knives
You had me at "nice find" my first post! so I had to dig out my first knife my grandpa gave me about 45 years ago, the first time I went fishing. Thanks to the first post, I identified it! It's beat to heck, and part of the handle is broken. What can I do to try and preserve it from getting worse, it's been in an old tackle box, yes with his lures!
Dang it! Now that I found this site, I see myself buying waaaaay too much!
Re: Remington's RH Pattern Fixed Blade Knives
That's awsome Gizmo, I have no knives from my dad. One Sunday pen knife of my grandpas, that's a cheap CAMCO. That's a great knife that could tell many family stories. Thanks for showing it to us
Re: Remington's RH Pattern Fixed Blade Knives
Thanks!! Yeah, I've had it since 9, guess that started my love of knives... unfortunately at 9 I used it to dig up stuff, and all kinds of silly things, but, I also know my grandpa used it all the time cleaning fish, and probably digging up stuff tooespn77 wrote:That's awsome Gizmo, I have no knives from my dad. Thought I'd add a couple more to the RH thread.
A RH38, RH35, RH71 with a box.

I have a Remington RH 73 knife...I paired it with a KA-BAR
Boys knife in a Kissing Crane double sheath like the Case Twin Finn's
The Stag on both the knives is very close in that old mellow gold like
color on the older knives...they are one of my favorites !!!
