Re: My Remingtons.
That’s it. I only know of the three models I mentioned. Are there others used by HTT magazine?

Re: My Remingtons.
I have a few of the old HTT magazines. I try to scan the page whenever I come across an advertisement for a Remington knife offered along with a subscription to the magazine. Here are the ones that I have come across so far. For completeness, I am repeating the one I included previously. I have the 3 you mentioned, but I have never seen the double blade large sleeveboard with what appear to be ebony, or maybe pyremite, handles and no blade etch - unlike the others.

I’ve never seen the large sleeve board either. I have examples of the other 3. Do you think that the sleeve board was ever offered?

Re: My Remingtons.
I would have to say HTT had these made for their promotion, but they may not have been requested by subscribers. I’m not close to my old catalogs at the moment, however the pattern seems familiar.pearlroosterman wrote:Do you think that the sleeve board was ever offered?
If our good friend Rocky happens to see this I’m optimistic he knows.AREMINGTONSEDGE wrote:
I wouldn’t be surprised if Keith has one of these in every handle configuration and posts some pictures later

Re: My Remingtons.
Remington did offer these Jumbo knives in their catalog number 1 and again in their C-5 catalog as the pictures illustrate. There were slight variations as you know related to the offer of the knives in discussion as promotion knives and not as reorder production knives. That’s my stab at it.

Thank you Rocky. Do you know if HTT magazine ever offered the 2 blade jumbo sleeveboard as a premium?

Thank you Roger. Do you know if these premiums were used prior to or after the years of using Remington.

I believe that watch fob was offered in the 1912 edition of Hunter-Trader-Trapper, volume 24

Well I don’t know if others have this resource but if you go to the site provided you will find a complete front to back view of each Hunter-Trader-Trapper magazines from the early 1900’s to the early to mid 1930’s. These digital copies are complete and include all ads and marketing advertisements. The articles I have found continue to hold interest and value in these modern times...well over 100 years later! Hope it helps and should give many answers to those that take the time and research. Enjoy...I do!

That is one pattern I haven't done a very good job of obtaining. The only example I have is the R3725.

Re: My Remingtons.
John, here is a group photo of mine closed. I had posted this group picture of a full set before, but it was a collaboration between Keith espn77 and I. Through good fortune (and expenditure lol) I have managed to complete my set. Next time I have them out I will try to remember to take a picture with blades open. Some have good etches, some have faint etches, and a few have no blade etch. I'm always looking to upgrade if anyone out there could make one available.pearlroosterman wrote:A better shot of my full set of Bullets. Please post and share other sets. John
