Unpacking.....

The Remington Corporation and the knives that they built have influenced the U.S. cutlery industry more than nearly any other manufacturer. From the time America was settled, to the end of WWI, American knife companies struggled to compete with Britain and German imports, but events that occurred during and after the First World War led to a great change in this phenomenon. Unprecedented opportunities arose, and Remington stepped up to seize the moment. In the process, they created some of today's most prized collectables. In an ironic twist, the next World War played the greatest role in ending the company’s domination of the industry.

Coming together nicely my friend. Have you decided where to put the TV, recliner and fridge full of beer yet?
That man is a success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who leaves the world better than he found it; who never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty or failed to express it; who looked for the best in other's and gave the best he had.

No TV, I have knives to look at, no recliner as I'm always walking looking at the knives, I definitely have a special spot for the beer fridge, it was the first item to find its spot in the room.

Cleaned the room up to accommodate company coming. And a picture of the knives that need find a home in the room.

Keith, you've got a lot of collecting still to do to fill that room. :)

Wow, great. Something to aspire to, your passion for collection definitely shows. Love the hardware store upright displays, glass counter, and advertising pieces especially. I've never seen or handled the bullet knives those things are massive I would love to find that exact display/knives at some point in life.

Keith can I ask how long you've been at it? That is quite the collection. I just have a few dozen knives in different areas of my small place at the moment. One day...

Outstanding collection and display setup!
I am lucky enough to have a small 'office' for all my hobbies but I'm not quite as organized or lucky enough to have so many nice ones, although the knives make it into my homemade wall displays pretty quick otherwise they just end up cluttering my desk.
